Welcome to my Online Portfolio and General Musings...

As of late, professionally speaking, I am primarily a web and print designer. Journalism just doesn’t pay the bills. However, I still love to write and harshly judge those who misuse the English language. I love my current job, and I am not actively seeking freelance work (they keep me plenty busy), but I feel the desire to showcase some of what I do nonetheless. So, welcome! Thanks for stopping by. I'm always in the process of updating my site (who isn't?), so feel free to poke around and check back whenever you get a chance.

Flash for fun...

Here's one of my favorite Flash pieces from graduate school. While I've put together more elaborate Flash pieces since then, I still like this one best. I want to add some background music, but until I have time to do so, just hum your favortie 80s jam while you watch and we'll be on the same page.

Side note: I love social media. I wrote a few papers on it in grad school, and have since fully immersed myself in whatever seems to be trending, or potentially trending. As of now, I mostly tweet, facebook, tumble, stumble and bookmark for fun, but I'm very aware that businesses should be taking full advantage of these tools as well. I'm working on spreading that (not at all original) vision.
